The Laplace transform as an alternative general method for solving linear ordinary differential equations

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>The Laplace transform is a popular approach in solving ordinary differential equations (ODEs), particularly initial value problems (IVPs) of ODEs. Such stereotype may confuse students when they face task ODEs without explicit condition(s). In this paper, four case studies by the are used to demonstrate that, firstly, how much influence was on student's perception utilizing method solve under different conditions; secondly, generalization for linear with generic conditions can not only break down but also broaden applicability constant-coefficient These show that even more robust obtaining specific solutions directly from general solution once values assigned later. This implies obtained could be as point control some dynamic systems.</p>
